Nick has more than twenty-six years of experience managing, leading, and developing information technology solutions for the Military, Intelligence, Federal Government and Commercial sectors. He is currently the Chief Technology Officer for EMC Federal and serves as a senior corporate evangelist on cloud computing, big data, and information security issues. In his CTO role he provides guidance and direction for product managers and engineers to develop solutions to some of the government’s biggest IT challenges.

Prior to this, Nick held senior government positions as the Deputy Chief for Enterprise IT Solutions, Defense Intelligence Agency, where he was responsible for the engineering and program management of all activities in the Department of Defense Intelligence Information Systems (DoDIIS) environment. He has served as the IT Director and Chief Information Officer of the National Media Exploitation Center (NMEC) under the Office of the Director of National Intelligence. Under his leadership, this organization became a tier one support activity for the U.S. Special Operations community and a key element in supporting the Global War on Terrorism. Nick currently serves on the Executive Advisory Committee of the Government Information Technology Executive Council (GITEC).

Nick has received numerous awards and recognition throughout his career to include two Defense Meritorious Civilian Service awards, the Joint Meritorious Service Medal, and the Army Meritorious Service Medal. Nick is also a decorated Army veteran that proudly served in many campaigns to include in Afghanistan, Iraq, Kuwait, Somalia, Rwanda, and Panama. Nick has served on many industry and government standards boards and serves on the Board of Advisors of several small companies.
